Meet Deb

Hi, I’m Deborah. You can call me Debbie.

I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can exhale, be honest, and show up as you are. Not a place where you have to perform, or explain your entire life story in the “right” order.

I’m a trauma-informed Marriage and Family Therapist Registered Intern working with individuals, couples and families, with a particular focus on relationships: intimacy, communication, trust, identity, and the patterns that make connection more complicated than it should be.

“A space where every part of you is welcome, even the dramatic ones.”

Outside the therapy room, I have spent years advocating for vulnerable children as a Guardian ad Litem and educational surrogate, and I’m an adoptive mom to two now-adult daughters.

Patterns can change

You are the expert on your life. I bring curiosity, training and tools.

Our patterns often make more sense once we understand the experiences, relationships and stories that shaped them. My role is not to “fix” you. It’s to help you understand what keeps showing up, and create new ways of responding.

Family systems, culture and early experiences shape how we love, argue, trust and protect ourselves. Instead of trying to fire the parts of you that keep showing up, we get curious about what they learned and what they have been protecting.
